Demex History

Demex S.A company established and registered by the law of Chili in the year 1997,under the name Dholen and Cuadra CIA Ltd created by Norwegian citizen Geir Dholen, Engineer of machines on merchant ship who arrive in Chile in the year 1994 for work in the fishing industry and established company to support import export operation between Norway and Chile.

In the year 2000 The company changed name to Demex S.A and a new partner Claudio Munoz Pizzarro enter the Company as main shareholder. Claudio Munoz Pizzarro start to develop international business of the Company by developing international trade activity for the medium and little size companies of Chile and start to specialized in import and export operations for the clients.

Company Demex S.A from 2005 has one owner Claudio Muñoz Pizarro and for today have more than 20 years of work in sphere of international trade. Thanks to his background and degree as a Commercial Engineer (Economist-Marketing-business degrees) enter the Company with experience in international Business, international trade and economics, having experience of being advisor of different Governmental offices in sphere of production, export and import operations (Corfo-Sercotec) and consulter professional of BID Inter-American Developed Bank.

In the year 2017, is created Demex medical SpA, the company is introduce cosmetics, medical device and pharmaceutical products in Chile, working as legal and sales representative of international laboratories in Chile, Importing the products and selling directly to doctors or clinics in Chile.

With the time of developing Company activity in market of Chili Demex start from 2017year to work with international companies who have interest to open a new markets for its own product with the help of DEMEX to enter the Chile market and open a new possibilities as a enter point to hall Latin market.

The secret of success of the Company was and still is to provide to small companies of Chili and other countries services as international division fulfilling import and export operation by the name and under request of local companies clients and partners of the Company from establishing first contact till the final stage which is bringing to the client best respond to his needs and request.
